I'm not depressed nor have I ever been. I did some research for my friends and decided to buy 5-HTP I took two 50MG's yesterday. I can't say that I have felt any different. Except I did have the worst nightmares early this morning. Is this a side affect? If your not depressed and don't suffer from anxietity should one not take this?

I noticed you also posted about ecstasy, is that why you are taking 5htp? If so there is evidence that 5htp does help one recover from using ecstasy. Please be careful....
