Hello,
I have been taking 5-HTP for nearly a week. I have noticed an increase in positive mood and a decrease in anxiety. The current brand I am taking is expensive. I was looking to buy some 5-htp from Iherb as they are much more cost effective.
What brand do you use and what has your experience been with said brand? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I too take Nature's Way 5-HTP (50 mg) with B and Vitamin C. I have not tried any other brand but I have had no problems with the Nature's Way tablets. I order from iherb.com (they sometimes give a discount). It may cost a little more, but I think it's worth it. Good luck!

I really like nature's way brand of 5htp with b6 and c. No stomach upset, and I think it is more effective than some of the other brands. I recently bought "Doctor's Best" 5htp from iherb because it was so inexpensive, but I've considered returning the unopened bottles because it just isn't as effective and it makes me nauseous. I have to take double the dose of DB to = NW. I've found the same to be true for the Natrol Brand, it is less effective than NW.
