Topic Title: 5-HTP in Canada ?
| | "5-HTP in Canada ?" , Fri 17 Jan 12:01
I went to buy it to Shoppers Drug Mart...saw whole bunch of SJW, including Kira, couldn't find any 5-HTP though. The pharmacist told me that 5-HTP is not approved in Canada!? If that's the case, what's the reason...I know why they pulled kava kava out of the shelve, but what seems to be a problem with 5-HTP ?

I was in a local Walmart last night looking at the Fish Oil they have (I was told that they had a decent brand there) and I just happened to noticed that they had 5-HTP. The only reason I noticed is because I had read this post. I am in Calgary (not sure where you live), but you may want to check a Walmart store near you.

Thanks a lot! BTW I'm from Toronto, I'll go to my local Walmart tomorrow. RE: Walmart, fish oil and the question from one of your posts regarding sources of Omega 3. I happend to purchase at Walmart Flax Seed, apparently another great source of Omega 3. The brand:Herbal Select (Freshly milled Flax Seed) Potent-Max certified organic. It says on the label:<< Milled flax is nature's richest source of Omega-3 Fatty acids >> I simply add it to my cerial.
