I know that I am not the only one who have headaches

I have used SJW for one year with some good results but it is not enough for me, so I decided to take together 5htp 300 mg a day,
It start working very well two hours after the first intake!!
But after a week I had a headache every day all the day so I stopped sjw and 5htp and headache last four days more.
After a week I started 5htp alone and headache came again and stopped five days after I stopped 5htp.
Now I need some help from you about headaches please.
Should I try different ways to take 5htp ?
Will headaches go after a while? (maybe taking aspirin)
Try beginning with low dosages like 50 mg daily?
How have you solved the problem with this adverse reaction?
Or maybe 5htp is not for me 
I will appreciate very much any comment from you about this subject...

I had headaches for my first week while taking 150 mg a day (3 doses of 50 mg each), but haven't had any since, even since upping my dose. Perhaps you should have upped the dose gradually rather than just doubling it like that. Perhaps go from 150 mg to 200 to 250 to 300....?

I experienced headaches, too, for a while on 5-HTP, but they went away within 2 weeks. I always suggest giving the 5-HTP a chance (a few weeks) before making a decision to stop it.
