What is the difference in brands??? I got the vitamin shope brand for 3 weeks 50mg 2x a day and last week I started to panic.. Someone here said that brands matter so I went out and got solaray 100mg.... Is there a difference???

I use Nature's way brand of 5htp because it is enteric coated. It doesn't get digested until it gets to the small intestine, therefore no stomach upset. It also contains b6 and vitamin c. Some dr.s think that b6 is needed to convert 5htp to serotonin, others disagree. It worked for me!
