I quit Paxil becuase it made me gain 40lbs and I went to 5 htp 3 weeks ago.. I was on 50 mg 2x a day.. It worked great!!!!! This past week it's like the 5 htp stopped working and I start to have panic attakcs again... Does you body devolop a tolerence to 5 htp... WHy did it stop working??? I feel horrible right now and I don't know what to do.. I don't want to go back on medications becuase they all cause weight gain.... PLease Help

I suggest you increase your dose to 300 mg/day. 150 in the morning and 150 in the afternoon.
