Hi all,
I suffer from 'agitated depression' and have heard all the wonderful things on 5HTP, but am unable to find it anywhere in Oz (except Queensland). I've heard of people ordering over the net, but i just wanted to make sure it would pass customs before i went ahead and fished out my credit card... :)
Anyone have any experience with this ??

I came very close to buying some last year, so I did all the research. 5-HTP is an allowable personal import, so knock yourself out. Customs won't stop it. It's not a TGA-approved substance, so shops can't sell it. The exception is Queensland, who are allowed to sell it in the same state (they sell to other states by post using some sneaky postal trick).
You're better off buying it from the US e.g. get some Nature's Way from iHerb.com.
