Hi, I just found out about 5 HTP about two weeks ago, I'm surprized I just happend to bumb into this site just so I could find out more about SJW.

I had trouble sleeping so I went to see my doctor, he said he didn't want to put me on any thing because he was afraid that I was going to get addicted to medication.

I had to do smomething so I went to my local health food store to by SJW. I spoke to the herbalist there and he told me that If I had trouble sleeping that I shoul take 5-HTP as well. I said I'll try it.

I only take two 50mg,(100mg) before bed with 2 sjw oil.
I find I'm feeling more depressed than every anf my head feels fuzzy,
is that normal????

I'll keep you posted....

How's it going Billy? Have things settled down for you?

I have never take SJW only 5-HTP and L-Tyrosine so I am sorry but can't help you with your question.

I have been a life long sufferer of insomnia and to this day 5-HTP is still helping me to sleep. The more I seem to read and the more I am using myself I must admit that I get the impression that 300mg+ seem to be the most effective dose for me and maybe quite a few other people.
