I'm not sure there is a correct dosage. I think is down to what you need personally and what you are taking 5-HTP for.

Peoples dose seems to vary, I take 200 - 300mg, but I know some people who take less and others who take more.

I think if you start off on a lower dose of 50mg - 100mg and take it from there, increasing if you feel the need to.

I can remember reading that the 'average' dose was around 300mg, but again I think it is down to personal preference and what suits you.
