I have had OCD for 28 years and suffer from depression caused by the OCD. Doc wants to put me on Prozac, but I really don't want to get into the side effects of medication.
I have started with 150 mg 5 HTP, and seem to be getting some positive results.
I know I will probably have to increase the dose , but I want to go slow. Anyone out there who knows when and how I should take 5 HTP, please feel free to give me some pointers.

Have you received any responses to your posting of September? If not, write back. I've spent many months researching 5-HTP.
