I had this experience with Paxil. It was so annoying that it is one of the main reasons I stopped taking it. The dreams almost felt like out of body experiences. I was curious if any others had this reaction and does it go away? It never stopped for me with Paxil. Just got worse.

Since I started SJW, I have only had a couple of episodes, and none in the last 2-3 weeks. It is such a relief not to be frightened of sleep anymore. On the other hand, my actual dreams are quite vivid, but I don't mind - it's cheaper than the movies! I only take 1 tablet, at bed time with water, and I would recommend anyone with NT try it, also check out www.nightterrors.org (an excellent web site, which recommends SJW for this condition)

I had two weird dreams. Last night I had a dream that scared the life out of me. I was afraid to go back to sleep for fear the dream would start up again. I dreamt that I was being crushed by a huge structural thing and I really panicked until I awoke. It was terrifying!

They are much more vivid and realistic, and I am able to remember every little detail about the dream after I wake up. I thought that was strange, but I also noticed other people posting in here about strange dreams as well.

I also have noticed that I have NO problem getting to sleep. as soon as my head hits the pillow, I'm out. I used to be one of those lay-in-bed-and-watch-tv-til-u-fall-asleep type of people, but now I don't have any troubles getting my Z's on...
