you might have to order an RR product on-line or at least get contact information off the internet-- then you have a choice of ordering on-line or by phone number provided on-line. if your local stores don't carry RR products i would say just order it. search the internet for rhodiola products and you'll get a zillion search results/companies you can order from.

Hey all,

Came across this site about two weeks ago and was depressed - read about rhodiola and went out and bought some - I almost immidiately felt better - but I now feel great! I have been on it for about 2 week and each dy I feel better - more mental energy, everything seems brighter and I sleep better:dance:

I would say this is a wonder suppliment - I bought the book "the rhodiola revalution and its pretty interesting how many things it cures - but didnt really give me the info I wa looking for like "how long it stays in your system"?

Anyways - I am so happy with the results, I had the type of depression that had me so fatigued, and mental fog - and its just not there anymore:smile:
Blessings

awesome, awesome (news), avana!!

i've had similar results. i am telling everyone i know about RR and even passing out samples and literature. i too think it's a wonder 'drug' (herb) though i went through a few trials and tribulations trying to find out which product/how much would work for me (well worth the ups and downs to arrive at where i am now). i've been told by a representative of the company Ameriden, which sells several RR products, that RR does not build up in the system. it seems to be a day by day thing, which also means that you don't have to wait long for results (as you've seen), though they say that after two months you should really be at a point of being able to see what it's doing for you in your life.

anyway, glad you are on the road to recovery!

Hey BB

Have you tried different brands? If so which ones and which were better?
Also, what dosage? I am using the GAIA HERBS brand and am taking (1) 200mg in the morning and one at noon -

What are you doing?

I'm taking the Nature's Plus regularly now. Well, sort of regularly. I only seem to need to take one 250 mg. tablet every three days. I know that sounds weird.......but it seems to be working for me right now.....have been taking this amount for 4 weeks now. I am much calmer. I don't catastrophize things. I'm really able to have a sunnier outlook on bad situations.

So it was making you "anxious" when you were taking more?

Well....maybe anxious is the feeling......but mostly I get a headache if I take it every day. It just feels like tooo much everyday......and I try to take the least amount possible of anything......

Hummmm.........Another thing that is suddenly different for me....I'm a substitute pre k'garten teacher, done it for about 6 years, am usually very shy and feel like a complete ineffective idiot, warm body standing in the room. But lately, I've sort of taken charge of things, I step up to sub jobs with complete confidence. I thought maybe it was because after all these years, I'm finally getting comfortable....but this burst confidence coincides with the use of Rhodiola.....

the brand you're taking, is it called nature's way or nature's way and nature's plus different brands??? i think I am gonna try that but wasn't sure if it's the same brand you're taking. it does come in 250mg strength, 60 veg. caplets in a bottle. if it's the same one, please let me know how it's working for you. did you have any side effects/problems and does it matter what time of day you take it?
Thanks,
hopeful

Hi,

i am also very interested in trying Rhodiola to compensate anxiety.
I was anxious all my life + derpessed.
Since 7 weeks i am on SJW (with excellent results against my depression) my anxiety is a little bit exaggerated.

I would appreciate very much a feedback from BLACKBIRD if she is still combining sjw and rhodiola.

Hi, Hopeful. The brand I'm taking is called Nature's Plus. 60 vegicaps. Prescription Quality, it says on the front lower left. 250 mg. Rhodiola, 100 mg Rhodiola Powder, 100 mg Herbal Actives Base Powder. I've always liked it, seems to work for me. The days are getting darker, it's colder out, and I'm thinking of taking it every other day.....but not quite yet....If I take it every day, I get really bad headaches and feel tooooo over stimulated. I take it first thing in the morning. If I take it at night, it keeps me awake.

hi mmf, so nature's plus and nature's way are 2 different brands then. I already ordered the nature's way, it shuld be here in a couple of days. I am really looking forward to it. I wanna feel better quickly but on the other hand, it could be like sjw, no change. We'll see. I think 1 100mg tablet/day would be ideal for you but you're probably saving money by buying the 250mg ones. whatever works. gotta go thanks! hopeful
