I have been experiencing tiredness even though i am a bit of a fitness freak and work out at the gym daily. This past week i have stopped taking it and have seen a huge improvement in my energy levels, i am able to stay up at night till after 11p.m. where as whilst taking it i was ready for bed by 9p.m. I don't want to stop taking it as i do suffer with depression and believed it helped, but the tiredness was depressing in it's self and i thrive on being alert. I have tried conventional antidepressants but these completely knocked me for six, turning me into a zombie! My body seems to react very well to drugs herbal and conventional. I have tried ginseng and pro plus though with no improved effect! has anyone else experienced these fatigue problems and how did you combat them?

Whilst my state of mind improved considerably and my sleep patterns benefited, I found myself in a perpetual state of tiredness that felt 'drug induced'. Like yourself, I have always been very active and the lethargy which seemed to be greatest during the day (to the extent that I was desperate for a short sleep most afternoons) became increasingly frustrating. After taking SJW for 6mths I switched to an alternative herbal source known as Rosavin, this is the herb Rhodiola rosea, commonly called "Golden Root," or "Arctic Root" (check it out on a search engine). I used it for 1mth and have now been 'drug free for 2 weeks. My energy levels seem to be returning to normal with the depression seemingly overcome. Hope this is of some help!
