Hi, I am new here also. I started taking SJW almost a week ago. I am not sure what causes my depression also, but having hypothyroidism, and a total hysterectomy at an early age, probably contributes. When I was first diagnosed with the hypothyroidism, the Dr. was sure I was depressed and prescribed several anitdepressants which either totally put me to sleep, or made me feel so foggy, I could not remember where I was going when I was driving. After several years of doing nothing, I have to admit that the Dr. was probably right. My current Dr., I am afraid, would not understand, he is not the emotional type, so I ventured out on my own and tried SJW. So far so good. I actually felt like doing something today. I didn't feel as if I had weights on my arms and legs weighing me down. I have had no side effects, and I have been taking it in the morning. I don't feel more tired at all.
I hope everything continues to go well. I have eight children depending on me, and I need to be my best for them.
Thanks, Kelly for putting together this sight.
