The quality of my life has improved immensely but like most of the comments I read I still get bad days. This is not a magic bullet but the bad days don't feel as bad or last as long as before. There are a even some times now when I will come off SJW for a week and can cope pretty well. I tend to know when I'm starting to slide and will go back on immediately. I'd never taken any perscription medication so I can't do any comparison with those.

As for brands. SJW has been withdrawn from sale here in Ireland (lack of clinical trials) but you can own and use it, so I have to get mine in US or Europe when I travel. Because of this I've tried 4/5 brands and haven't found much difference between them. I'm interested in the comments on the Flora brand and will look to purchase some of that on my next trip to the US.

I've been combining the use of SJW with a strict fitness regieme and using some self help guides but no formal therapy. I believe this is an important part of any recovery.
