(yes we all know it does have some side effects - but I believe, not enough(if you are aware of them, to prevent its use). However, to treat my mild depression (although I have experienced a lot worse in the past), St. John's Wort is very good at keeping it at bay (I didn't realise this until I stopped taking it!)The reality of this being - that today my husband drove for five hours to obtain this for me (not having had the benefit of it for the last two months) and then I returned to this site (as one I belived in - I know you have been there...) to find the correct dosage.... Thank you

Not a fabulous option, but you may be able to find a site with reasonable shipping costs. And I read you can import it from Northern Ireland as well, so it may not be that much in shipping from there.

When I came home from work this evening I pointed out to my husband that I had looked up this site to ascertain the dosage (which happened to be 3 times recommended on the package!)- to which he replied that I would be "had" for drugs - then I remembered and mentioned your mail! we both had a good laugh. (Actually the ban is true and for quite some time now - go do some research on the internet!...

(and possibly anesthetics?) I am not sure ... In addition there is now talk of banning (in Ireland) a number of other health supplements over the next few years - including high dosages of vitamin C (unfortunately I do not have a lot of information in this regard either) - sorry... This is exactly what they did with L-tryptophan, which until recently was only available by prescription in the US, even now it's too expensive. It's hard to see these things as anything but deliberate attempts to force people to take pharmaceuticals or pay a premium price for natural supplements.
