I've never been depressed constantly for a long time, but my mood was swinging from normal to bad frequently, and some days i didn't feel like getting out of bed at all. I thought of going to a doctor and maybe getting a prescription for some SSRI meds, but I decided to rather try St. Johns Wort after reading about it from the net. I've been using it for about six weeks now, and it has really improved my mood, although it took almost a month to start working. I don't get the downs anymore, and I feel generally happier and also more talkative. And no side effects! I had some mild side effects in the first week of using, but they all went away. Now I wonder how long I should keep using it, and will the symptoms come back if I stop?

It contains 0,25mg's of hypericin per capsule.
