Hi everyone,

has anyone here tried RELORA? I found it on a company's website that manufactures 5-htp, and i was wondering if it was any good, especially in treating anxiety, mood swings, depression.

Hiya Deepfreez,

I tried Relora for a short time about 3-4 months ago. To be honest, I was a bit underwhelmed by it. If it had an effect, it actually made me feel a bit sluggish....and I think for this reason I only took it for a few days.

I'm always slightly suspicious about websites that make huge claims for their product. The website that I bought Relora from was quite similar to the one you linked in your posting -- a bit over-the-top.

Give it a try by all means - it may work great for you - but just be a bit cautious about all the sales froth.

Thanks sheephead,

I was on 5-htp and it was actually doing great but my libido was lowered. I was still able to ''do it'', but its like I didn't care. Anyways I was looking for a substitute, I guess I'll pass relora for now since i can't really find any info on it. I'll try Rhodiola Rosea instead, some people seem to have good results on it.

I dunno, but if Relora was as good as it says on the website, we'd all be using it. It would be the talk of this message board and it would be world famous. Instead.....

Having said all that, my feeling is that if one is trying to treat depression / anxiety via the herbal / supplement route, experimentation is the name of the game.....and it could be worth a try on that basis alone.
