Can anyone tell me what is the best brand of RR. I am returning my Nature's Way RR to Whole Foods if they will take a return. I understand it is grown in Northern China.
I'm thinking of trying Now brand. Please respond. SJW has really helped me, but it has also flattened me out.
I am excited about a good brand of RR.

Rosavin & Rosavin Plus by Ameriden are a really high quality brand, it comes from Siberia and contains all the necessary actives. You probably have to order online but its worth it. I use Rosavin Plus, its a 150mg dose with some electrolytes to help digest better. I'd be weary of NOW, I think its a 500mg dose. You really should not need that much if its true Siberian RR (IMO). When I first started I didnt like Rhodiola and gave up on it, but it was at a strange time where I was coming off SJW (didnt like SJW at all). I tried Ashwagandha, which is another great adaptogen for anxiety and depression, but now I am back on Rosavin Plus. I take one in the morning and one after lunch, and after the 2nd dose I have been feeling GREAT. You have to make sure you take days off though, so what I think I am going to try is 3-4 days of RR and then 1-2 days of Ashwagandha. Mixing them is also an option, one time I had a great experience, and one time I felt spacey. Too many variables.
Anyways, another good brand is Arctic Root, I think its the original brand and its huge over in Sweden.

Bodyonics Pinnacle RhodaX - 170 mg pills.
--I took that for 10 days and it worked very well. After 10 days though I could hardly feel anything from the 170 mg, so doubled it to 340 mg and that was a huge rush for a couple days. Then I thought I'd experiement a bit and tried the ....
NOW brand of RR - 500 mg pills.
--I've been taking one 500 mg pill in the morning for a week or so, and it is working well, but I think I might be overdoing it a bit and didn't need to jump from 170 mg to 500 mg so quickly. I feel I'm going into system overload a bit. Perhaps halfing the morning pill would've been the smarter thing to do.
So those are two brands that work very well. If you can afford it, taking 1 RhodaX pill in the mornings for 10 days, then 2 pills in the morning for 20 days or so, would be a great option that I think would work well. I hear about great results from the Ameriden brand often, but haven't tried it yet myself so can't say.
