I take 300mgs. of New Chapter branded Rhodiola which is standardized to 5.4-6.6 total rosavins. This comes out to between 16 and 20 mgs. of Rosavins which is a comparable dose that you are getting in your extract. I find this dose to give a very noticeable effect. Hope this helps.

Hey,
I started taking this yesterday..only 250 mg. I felt a definite boost in energy and confidence I think, but maybe a little more anxious. I took my regular Natrol 5htp (25 mg/split doasage ) and think I felt more calm. Today I took in Am and feel quite ok but gain with the 5htp.

I've also used the New Chapter rhodiola with success. The other brands that work for me are Ameriden (Clearmind and Rosavin, pricey but work GREAT) and Jarrow. I didn't notice anything with the Nature's Way brand.

These brands all have 3-5% rosavins.

Also, Jarrow claims that Salidroside is "not a useful marker for rhodiola."

Rhodiola has been wonderful and consistent for me as long as I take periodic (4 or 5 day) breaks from it. Hope this helps.
