Totally desperate a few weeks ago. Went to my doctor as my pms seems to be getting worse! I'm totally depressed and irritable - shouting at everyone......a real head case!

Doctor was totally crap! As usual!

So....I decided out of desperation to take a 5htp (50mg capsule) each morning in the run up to my next nightmare period! I did this as I had no options left! I still stuck to my 50mg each night as well.

and..........

guess what???

Yeah!!!!!!! It worked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

One chilled week!!!!!!!! NO irritability, NO tearfullness, NO shouting, NO depression!!!!!!!!! Nothing!!!!!!! Just a little bit of tiredness for which I boosted with Rhodiola..........

So, if you're suffering, try 50mg each morning about a week before you start - or whenever you start to feel that 'red mist' coming over you!

Hi!

Bioidentical Progesterone can also help! And the thyroid is very important as well..

The most important thing is to treat the cause not only the symptoms!

Kind regards, Reina

I have found the 5-htp has really helped with my pmdd (basically severe pms). SJW didn't do a thing for that, but I'm happy to report that 5-htp has been helpful.
