Today was my second day on RR (300mg), which I took at 9am. Yesterday and today I noticed that right around 5:30-6:30pm I started feeling sad again, and my heart felt like it was beating harder. Like I could feel it beating or something. Is this normal? Do I need to add another supplement in the evenings?
Thanks

Hi,
Do you have a doctor? you might want to visit with them and let them know what you're doing and to check you over to make sure it's okay. You're probably just feeling the "anxiety rush" that people talk about the first week on this stuff where your body is getting a lot of seratonin released...apparently it's supposed to normalize within a week or so. That being said, maybe this isn't the reason you felt like that and I would strongly urge you to see a medical professional just to make sure. Best of luck.

Thanks for your reply Chad. I saw my doctor today, but he hadn't heard of RR, so I gave him the basic info. He said my heart rate was a little fast, but not enough to be concerned about. He's familiar with SJW and 5HTP but not RR. Anyway, I'm no longer feeling my heart beating hard, which is a relief. I didn't take RR yesterday just to see if it made a difference, and there sure was! I was crying and felt really sad again, so I'm definitely sticking with it. I might add 5HTP in the future. I hope the benefits of RR on me will increase with time. For now, it gets me through the day and keeps most of the sadness away, but I still have a trace of sadness. However, nothing like before, and I'm grateful for that.
Thanks again.
