I have tried SJW with positive results for 6 months. I want to try taking Rhodiola Rosea to compare the two and decide which I can lead a happier life with. I'm pretty lost though as far as what brand to try, what things to look for in dosage/ingredients, and what web-site to order from. I can order from the internet and I would like to do so as soon as possible, but I'm pretty unsure where to start. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If you read some of the postings throughout this thread, you'll see different brands people have or are going to try. Do a google seach for more information and you'll find a lot of help that was as well.

The GNC brand works well for me

Yeah I tried just Googling Rhodiola Rosea as a few people have suggested, but it was just an overwhelming mish-mash of shady looking sites, all who suggested that their formula was the "only" genuine formula that worked, or that it was "the best". I take the Walgreens brand of SJW and it's comforting to be using such a recognizeable name with a good price. Hopefully the GNC brand Rhodiola will bring the same satisfying price and the re-assurance of using a well known brand.

I've been using the GNC brand for a few weeks now. I notice very little benificial effects other than I worry a little less about stuff.

I use New Chapter and find it to be very effective. It's the only brand I've used so I can't compare it to anything else.

I hear Ameriden's Clearmind is really good. Although I have never tried Rhodiola Rosea, I read about Clearmind on this site.

Check it out at: http://www.ameriden.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=nutra

Thanks to all of you for letting me know what brands you use. I went ahead and ordered the GNC brand just because I'd like to see if a well known name brand will work out alright. I used Walgreen's SJW for months and it never let me down yet, so hopefully the GNC brand has good quality Rhodiola.

By the way, I'm just curious, have any of you used GNC AND another brand. If so which worked better for you?

Thanks!

I always try to buy the Nature's Way brand. They make the Perika brand of SJW. A lot of their formulas come from Germany, which basically leads the world in herbal rememdies.

I'm pretty sure you want yer R&R standarized to 3% rosavins and 1% salidroside. A great website to buy herbs and such from is www.vitacost.com (http://www.vitacost.com). They have great prices for just about everything. Like I said in an earlier post I always use the Nature's Way brand. It's a great product at a good price.

I'm living overseas and could not find any typical American brands over here in Poland, so I found this Polish brand. Does this look any good? Please choose English and look at the product "Arctic Root". I am wondering about the % of Rosavins etc..
TIA
