Can anyone recommend a brand of 5-HTP?

I have seen on this web site the suggested brands for SJW, but never for 5-HTP. Any suggestions?

Brands that I am currently using that I think are good are Natrol Brand, and Nutraceutical Sciences Institute. Both are Peak-X free. I'm sure there are many other good brands out there too.

I use Nature's Way and like it so far. The reason I picked it is because it comes in tablets, not capsules, so it's easier to cut up if you want to take half-doses.

Peak-X was something that I read, about a strain of contaminants in 5-htp that caused a blood disorder of some kind. They weren't sure if Peak-X was the direct cause or there were other factors involved. I wouldn't be too worried about it though, I think that possibly all the brands available today don't contain it. I just put that, because I read about it and thought it was something familiar to a lot of people. The Natrol brand didn't say anything about not having Peak-X on the bottle, but I called, and the lady said, " Natrol definitely did not have that in there product."

I use Now Foods..I am also taking "True Focus" ..very good products..
Good are the products "Pure encapsulations" as well...
