Let's say you've decided to try St. John's Wort. Maybe you're a little nervous, and you're not sure what to expect. Maybe your heart is even racing, it's exciting and stressful to imagine that the fog might actually life over the days and weeks and follow, isn't it? What do you do now?? This thread is all about those first days. But first, some advice.
Be patient. Remember that SJW can take up to six weeks to work. Some people start noticing it after a few days, or a few weeks... for others, it just takes longer. Everyone is different.
Okay, whew. You're being patient. You're twiddling your thumbs. Now what??! You should congratulate yourself on seeking out a solution to your problem, and dealing with it. You rock. But probably, you still feel a little glum. So in the days and weeks ahead, I think you should celebrate the fact that you're on the road to recovery and do something for yourself for a change. Treat yourself. You need some immediate gratification right now, while you're waiting. Do something you wouldn't normally do, but hmm, what would that be?
