Can't take the SSRI's because of severe side effects. Buspar makes me feel light headed. The wellbutrin kind of helped but I was prescribed remeron which helped a lot. I gained about 20 pounds and I'm still losing hair. I stopped taking the wellbutrin 3 weeks ago and the remeron 2 weeks ago. I was very conservative in reducing dosage so that I didn't suffer any undue side effects or withdrawal. I still need something to take the edge off. Something that will help with the anxiety attacks. Do I need to worry about SJW considering I have problems with side effects with any SSRI's. Any advice would be so greatly appreciated.

One thing that you should beware of is that SJW is known to react with SSRI's in a bad way - therefore you should wait a good couple of weeks after you stop taking any SSRI before starting to take SJW....also should you wish to stop taking SJW and start again on an SSRI, two weeks is again the required time to wait before starting the new medication. I needed to know how to handle the SJW. I've not taken anything for at least 2 weeks and as to the SSRI's, it's been over a year. So Kelly's recommended dosage of .9 at night would be okay or would it be best if I started out at .3?

David
