In fact I now believe that they invented those drugs just to take adventage of you and to make money of of you. Because all these drugs do to you is put you in a denyingstate of mind with side effects that will make you worse of then what you originaly were.
My case was that I had no idea of the problem I was suffering of was unI saw a show on Date Line TV about people that had the similar problems I had coping with life.
Their conclusion was to see a psychologist if you suffered from the same related problems, which were "depression or anxiety".
When I realized that I wasn't the only experiencing these kind of dilemas, I became so over joyed that there might finally be an answer to all my problems.
So I did what they suggested and went to see a shrink.
He of course came to the conclusion that I needed prescription drugs and prescribed me a drug called Buspar. AND YOU KNOW WHAT IT actually worked, after about ten days of taking it, it did take away my depressions and anxiety.
Well, after one and a half years of taking that crap I started to say to myself, am I going to have to be on drugs the rest of my life to take care of my problem???
So I got really mad at the world and said that's it, if I cannot face life as it is then so be it. But the problem persisted as soon as I got off the stuff. Luckily, I had spoken to a friend of mine of this annoyance in my life. Surprisingly he said that he knew someone that had the same problem, and said that this person had tried a new thing called Saint Jhon's Wort, and said that she hadn't been the same since then.
So I was very skeptical about this new herb and started to research it on the the internet. The best thing Iliked about it was that it was 100% natural and was purchasable at any health store.
Well, I did by it, and have been taking it for one and a half years now and am feeling very well with a normal state of mind.
I thank God for this and really recommend this natural herb to anyone with the similar problem I used to have.
P-S Haven't had any side effects from this herb except for sensitivity to bright lights such as neon lights, and am getting a bit more sun burned then before , but you know what? I don't give a crap because I am feeling so much better and healthier then before. Thank you god for your natural creations. Eric

I am incredibly anxious and depressed so I have been taking SJW for the past 3 weeks in hopes of improvement. But to my despair nothing has happened, in fact things are getting worse. How long did it take you to feel the positive effects of SJW on your anxiety? And what brand and dosage are you taking? If you have any more insight you can give me about your own development that you can offer me since I see similarities, I would appreciate it. I am seeing a psychologist today for the first time and I know they are going to try to convince me to take meds, non herbal of course, and I've heard how horrible they are.

I have been taking SJW a month, and even though I'm not "healed" yet, (I still feel a little "down" sometimes), I am definitely much better on the whole. During my first few weeks, I had days where I thought it was working, and then days when I thought it wasn't. But it was the good days that showed me that at least it was starting to work. I finally feel like I can go ahead with plans for my life. I didn't feel that way before. Have you felt any positive effects at all? If not, you probably need to try a different kind, or up the dose. Hang in there! It seems to me like it takes a little experimenting. I'll pray for you Jenny. I know what it's like.

I started Buspar 2 days ago. I have heard some pretty icky stuff, side effects wise, that Buspar brings on, but Im hoping that it will do something positive. I dont generally expereience side effects from any meds but this one makes me so dizzy that I cannot open my eyes for almost 30 minutes. I took it when I got to work yesterday, and my boss had to go get me a cup of water because he was so worried. And the first night I woke up with my heart beating hard and I had a mad food craving. Hopefully these effects will wear off. My docotor told me that I can take both Buspar and SJW at the same time. That doesnt settle well with me though. Too many different chemicals mingling in one body cant be healthy.

But I feel its useless to do so since Ive heard practically nothing good about the drug. It was just so expensive that Im wasting a whole bottle. But that of course is no reason to take a medication especially if you are messing around with your body. I started SJW again in hopes that it will soon work for me. Even thinking about Buspar gives me the creeps, this should be a big blinking sign for me to stop it. Thankfully I am seeing a therapist next week so perhaps I can come up with a non-medicated alternative to my problems. I know this is the only permanent cure.

The brand I buy is called:
Finest Natural and is a walgreens brand. The tablet's dosage of SJW is 300mg. I have tried quite a few brands until I finally found the one that suited me the best.I found that capsules have little effect, and that cheap brands barely worked if at all. So I think that you should try that one.The bottle comes inside a peach color box and costs about $14.00 for one hundred tablets, and the big bottle contains 240 tablets and costs about $22.00.
It took me about 3 to 4 weeks to really feel the effects. I've been taking the same dosage for a year and a half which is 3 to 4 tablets a day. One in the morning as soon as I wake up around 7:30 AM, one at 12:00 PM, and one at 5:00 PM. When I plan on staying up late on certain nights,I take an additional tablet around 10:00 PM. In my case, the effects start to fade out after 5 hours. One thing that I also noticed that decreased the effectiveness of SJW is smoking, so If you are a smoker you will not get the full potency. Alcohol has not affected the effectiveness, that is unless you get drunk, than next day you will feel a little crappier.
What I feel from this pill, is not a sudden magical happiness but rather a natural feeling that stabalizes the anxiety and depression I used to get. It just makes me feel like a normal person and that is what I find the best.
One thing I found that increases the effects of SJW, is to work out about 3 to 4 days a week. I believe that is from getting a better blood flow resulting in greater stimulation.
Eating healthy foods is also a plus and helps.
Well, if you have any other questions or want to share your problems with me, please don't hesitate to contact me, take care and whish you the best. I have been taking SJW for approximately 3 1/2 yrs. I started taking KIRA which worked for me. Kind of expensive. Tried a couple other brands which seemed to contain nothing! Tried GNC brand which works great for me. GNC has been consistent. Much cheaper also, 360 capsules for 22.oo. Take 2 per day. Anyway, I will NEVER NEVER go back to psych meds! They almost killed me many times over. From internal hemhorage, to dropping my body fat to almost nothing! Took a long time to heal that. One med I gained an incredible amount of unwanted weight w/out changing my eating habits, another made my hair fall out in clumps, & the last one I was nearly comatose for 3 days on 1/2 a tablet, the lowest dosage possible. Anyway, I am very satisfied with wort, and will continue to take it. Aside from the mind stabilizing benefits I enjoy the other benefits of Wort.
It is said to boost your immune system. Which I believe. I stay healthier on Wort.
Goosegirl

Goosegirl
